The tragic downing of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH17 has left the families of the 298 passengers and crew on board the ill-fated Boeing 777-200 aircraft having to deal with the unexpected grief and loss of loved ones.
Losing a family member or a close friend is never easy and no matter how prepared one is for a death, they can never be fully prepared for the loss and the grief.
Clinical hypnotherapist and counsellor Dr Ajit Ludher suggests affected family members use hypnotherapy treatment, which he believes is among the best ways to help treat depression and cope with the death of a loved one. Hypnosis or Hypnotherapy is a scientifically-acknowledged psychological and therapeutic discipline that can help cope with the stress of losing someone or something.
Dr Ajit said that hypnotherapy was not about forgetting but more about healing, accepting the reality of the loss and most importantly, working through to the pain of grief.
